Clemens watch
From Newsday:
Roger Clemens will take the mound once again, and he's not straying far from home. Newsday has learned that Clemens, 43, has agreed to terms with the Astros, the team for which he pitched the last two seasons. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner could be pitching in the major leagues by the end of June. He will earn from $3.5 million to $4 million per month, netting him roughly $12 million for about a half-season's work.
Must say that this has dragged on a bit too long. Surprised that Clemens who claimed to have the intentions of going to a winner is going back to Houston. Then again being able to work one to two days a week and make 12mm doesn't sound that bad either.

should have went to the mets
It's nice to know that Clemens somehow knows what the winning team is.
typical roger. shunning the spot light and pennant race of boston for houston - who is 6+ games out of 1st.
A Guy who loves attention is Clemens:
Give him NONE;
You have a link on my blog.
I am a White Sox fan just roaming through your blogs and I was curious to see what Red Sox fans are feeling as the team appears to be falling apart, as the Skankees rip 'em a new one. I can't for the life of me understand what your manager is doing having Javy Lopez catching instead of Doug Mirabelli. It seems like a no brainer to me. He needs to have a catcher who knows the pitching staff. I feel this huge collapse is on the manager and not so much on the players. I think the pieces are there to still contend, but it appears to be coming apart quickly. Anyone feel the same?
