Four Days Until Sox v Yanks - Round 1
Monday is the first meeting of the Red Sox and the "Evil Empire" - always a stressful time for any Sox fan. With our boys in red and white currently getting trounced by Cleveland (currently 11-2 in the top of the 7th), I can't help wonder what Monday and Tuesday's games have in store. Any predictions?

Way to think positively! To be fair, the Sox are struggling. 15-3 at the top of the 9th!? Phenomenal.
Are we talking 'in a perfect world' predictions or 'let's be realistic'?
In a perfect world: Sox sweep easily, Damon goes 0 for whatever, Sheffield pulls a nutty on a fan and gets suspended for a month, Manny and Papi tattoo the Monster and right field stands with an assortment of extra base hits, and no Sox runners are ever left on base.
The 'real world' - hate to admit it, but I think they're going to split the two games.
If we're going to talk "perfect world", the Sox win every game against the Yankees and each game ends with Jeter, A-Rod, and Damon laying on the field in the fetal position crying like babies. Although that would be fun to see, I'm talking "real world". I agree with you though, Couch Potato; I think the series is going to be split.
I just want to see Damon throw one of his perfect strike four-hoppers to the cut-off man.
I want to see Jeter tear his Achilles tendon.
thank god we got mirabelli back in time for the series. if i saw one more passed ball by Josh Bard i would hang myself. now we just need to get rid of Seanz.
I got part of my wish - Damon went 0 for 4! The gods love the Red Sox!
